
Ingredients
- 35 skewer sticks (shishkabob sticks)
- 1 flank steak, or boneless; cut into 5 inch long thin strips by 1 inch wide
- ½ cup lime juice
- 3 tsp minced ginger
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
Preparation
- Skewer the beef and place in a shallow baking pan.
- Combine the remaining ingredients into a small bowl.
- Pour marinade sauce over the beef.
- Marinade for at least 2 hours.
- Thirty minutes before cooking, remove from the refrigerator.
- Heat the over to 400 degrees/
- Place skewers on baking sheets.
- Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Serve with Peanut Sauce
Additional Tips
- Substitutes: Instead of flank steak, you can use pork tenderloin, chicken strips or shrimp.
