The two little rectangular, double-locking containers could be used to store a variety of items but are typically used like lunch boxes to store and transport food. The round container does the same, but also functions as duel-sectioned pot with a collapsible handle for cooking or reheating. Sort of like a G.I. Mess Kit, but definitely more domesticated.
